
Legal Assistant Opportunities
The Legal Assistant plays a vital role in the success of EMW LAW. This position supports the Principal Attorney and firm operations by managing administrative tasks, client communications, calendars, files, and intake workflows.
This role requires a high level of organization, discretion, initiative, and professionalism. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of balancing legal support with operational and client-facing responsibilities.
This position is best suited for someone who thrives in a structured environment, values excellence, and understands the importance of systems, follow-through, and client experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Supporting attorneys with case and administrative management

Managing client communications, intake, onboarding, and off-boarding

Scheduling consultations, meetings, and court dates

Preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents

Managing digital and physical files in MyCase and Google Drive

Conducting discovery calls and tracking lead follow-up

Coordinating mail, supplies, and office logistics

Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with firm procedures
Required Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities

Comfort with technology, digital file systems, and case management software

Professional demeanor and discretion with sensitive information
Preferred (But Not Required):

Prior administrative, legal assistant, or office support experience

Experience working in a law firm or professional services environment

Familiarity with MyCase, Google Workspace, or similar tools
