This clerkship is designed for motivated law students seeking hands-on exposure to trial-level legal practice in a professional, fast-paced environment. Clerks will work closely with attorneys on substantive legal matters, including legal research and writing, drafting pleadings and motions, case analysis, trial preparation, and observation of depositions and court proceedings.​

Applicants should be:

• Professional, detail-oriented, and dependable

• Open to feedback and eager to learn

• Strong communicators with sound judgment

• Genuinely interested in litigation and trial practice

The Summer Clerkship Program will be offered in-person in our downtown Birmingham office.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and availability by session may impact placement.
